Collaboration/Wikis
The collaborative project “Problem Solving Challenge” was designed to give 3rd – 5th grade students a chance to solve math problems. Students share answers, engage in discussions, and discover that there is more than one way to solve a problem. Students share answers using a variety of tools such as Voice Thread, ScribLink, Zoho, Kerpoof, etc. This site was built using Wetpaint.
Students are currently working collaboratively to create a reference page about the water cycle called “Water On The Move: The Water Cycle”. They are including information about Earth’s water, the forms of water, evaporation, transpiration, condensation, precipitation, runoff, and infiltration. The page also includes a glossary page of key terms completed by students. This site was built using WikiSpaces.
